10 New Spring Cookbooks

Wednesday, April 5, 2017

Besides longer days, warmer weather and blooming trees, spring also means the abundance of new shiny cookbooks popping up everywhere. I look at it as a spring refresh on our everyday cooking.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been making a list of all the gems, so you don't have to, and here are the 10 amazing new reads to inspire your senses with new flavour twists, incredible tips and simplicity that will allow you to actually enjoy those meals.

From the top: 1. Tartine All Day: Modern Recipes for the Home Cook by Elisabeth Prueitt - 2. Green Kitchen at Home: Quick and Healthy Vegetarian Food for Every Day by David Frenkiel and Luise Vindahl - 3. Dinner: Changing The Game by Melissa Clark - 4. One Part Plant: A Simple Guide to Eating Real, One Meal at a Time by Jessica Murnane and Lena Dunham - 5. Back Pocket Pasta: Inspired Dinners to Cook on the Fly by Colu Henry - 6. Food52 Mighty Salads: 60 New Ways to Turn Salad into Dinner by Editors of Food52.

From the top: 7. The Egg Shop: Cookbook by Nick Korbee - 8. Burma Superstar: Addictive Recipes from the Crossroads of Southeast Asia by Desmond Tan and Kate Leahy - 9. In My Kitchen: A Collection of New and Favorite Vegetarian Recepies by Deborah Madison - 10. The Book of Greens by Jenn Louis and Kathleen Squires.

Any favourites?

P.S: My last summer reading list...
P.P.S: And a few 'simple living' reads that you might like.

I like them. My recent fave is Clean Soups cookbook by R. Katz. It's full of easy ways to make different soups

In the wake of the internet, it's nice to see cookbooks are still plentiful. I think I'd like to take a look at 'dinner changing the game'
